Tyrese Gibson Still Campaigning To Play GREEN LANTERN

Remember back in January when we were hearing all those stories about Tyrese and how he wants to play Green Lantern? Will apparently he's still got his heart set on portraying the ring powered DC hero. The actor posted yet another fan-made rendering of himself as the Green Lantern known as (John Stewart).

This time with the cryptic caption"The Oath...See you soon!" hinting that he may have already landed the role. The Instagram post was taken down a short time after. We're not really sure if Gibson was jumping the gun on releasing news that the studio wasn't ready to announce or if it was a stunt to keep people taking. Either way there has been no official announcement from Warner Bros. The latest in an on slot of GL rumors is that Chris Pine may be in contention to play the next big screen incarnation of the DC hero. Maybe Gibson has indeed willed his way into the role. Only time will tell and all we can do is speculate until we get official word on the future of one of the most iconic DC heroes.
