Star Wars Rebels Season 2 Poster Reveal

No, your eyes do not deceive you. The above poster for Star Wars Rebels Season 2 does indeed depict Ahsoka Tano once apprentice to Anakin Skywalker in an intense battle with her former Jedi master now known as the the Sith lord Vader. The poster was revealed at Star Wars Celebration which continues to give us all a huge case of "the feels." We are now even more excited for the 2nd season of Star Wars Rebels.

We also learned from producers Dave Filoni and Pablo Hidalgo (Star Wars: The Clone Wars) that they had plans to wrap up the stories of Ahsoka and Captain Rex which would have taken place through the events of Revenge of The Sith as well as the aftermath. Ahsoka Tano and Captain Rex were two of the shows most popular characters during it's 6 season run. If you haven't seen the show it's definitely worth checking out and the best part is the entire series in now streaming on Netflix.
Prior to her recent appearance in Rebels season 1 we last saw Ahsoka walking away from the Jedi order and her master Anakin Skywalker in season 6 of the Clone Wars. We won't spoil exactly why she leaves for those who are not caught up though. It will be interesting to see exactly what happened to her after she left the order as well as her reaction and feelings to her former friend and mentor falling to the dark side.
